or the nearest ATM locationBlocking or standing between them
Creating a small commotion
Accidentally” dropping something or bumping into something
Simply standing nearby without saying anything can also work.

Report what is happening to the people around you and ask if they can help.
You can also seek assistance from nearby authority figures, such as a bus driver, security guard, bartender, or even the police. Asking others for help still means you are taking action.

Step in and offer support to the victim after they experienced harassment.
Make sure the person who experienced harassment is okay. Acknowledge that what happened was not right and that it was absolutely not their fault. Offer the support they need, just as you would want to receive if you were in their position. A little empathy can make
a big difference.

Speak up and directly call out
the harasser.
Tell them that what they are doing is wrong without provoking an argument. Simply ask them to stop and leave the victim alone, or engage the victim in conversation about what is happening.
Use this approach only as a last resort to prevent violence. Your safety and the victim’s safety come first.

Document the harassment with
your phone.
Before turning on the camera, remember that the purpose of documenting the situation is to support the person experiencing harassment, not just to record a bad incident. Most importantly, always ask the person who was harassed what they want to do with the footage. Never upload or use it without their permission.
